Matthew & Me are a five piece band from Totnes, Devon, their website says their music is inspired by love, friends, everyday life, moments of calm, turmoil, art, bad decisions made, good times had, gin, tea, beer, Berlin – possibly after a visit to Indie Kitchen it might be inspired by cake as well.
They came into the kitchen recently and played an astonishing set featuring well crafted layers of sound and excellent harmonies.
Their set mainly focused on the songs on their new EP “Golden Charms”, which out in 16th June – they also played a 7 minute version of “Sinners” from their self-titled EP from 2011. To build some excitement for the new EP’s release, here is our video of the title track. You will also find the video for “September” below as well.
