Leonard Summoner

We filmed some acoustic sessions in the famous Studio One at Strongroom Studios in January 2024, as part of the UK Americana Music Week.

Leonard Sumner is an Anishinaabe singer-songwriter from Saskatchewan, Canada, whose music blends aspects of country, folk and hip-hop music.

He joined us to play his song They Say and explain a little about his formative years.
